Alice Hâlâ Yeryüzünde!!

 

İzlerken filmden kısa bir diyalog kulağıma takıldı:

— “Alice gerçekten tavşan deliğine düşmüş.”  (Alice has fallen down the rabbit hole )
— “Alice hâlâ yeryüzünde!”      ( Alice is still terra firma )

 3 Christs filminden

Sonra aklıma Bukowski geldi.( Tarzını değil ama felsefesini severim. )
“Either I work at the post office and go crazy, or I work for you and starve. I’ll try starving.”

Türkçesi en sade haliyle şöyle:
“Ya burada postanede çalışırım, kafayı yemeye devam ederim,
ya da seninle çalışırım, aç kalırım.
Ben aç kalmayı tercih ederim.”

Belirsizliği göze alarak kendi hakikatini yaşamayı seçmek. "Ben aç kalmayı tercih ederim" demesi, belki de kendi tavşan deliğini bilinçli seçmesi...

Hepimiz bazen hayatın gerçekliğinden kopar, “tavşan deliğine” düşeriz. Bu, içimizdeki kaosu, bilinmeyeni, kayboluşu simgeler. Hatta travma. Zihnimiz labirent, kafamızda binbir soru; dünya bir anda bambaşka bir yer olur. 

Ama ilginç olan şu: Alice hâlâ yeryüzünde!

Düşmüş olabiliriz ama tamamen kaybolmadık. 

“3 Christs” filmindeki bu iki cümle ve Bukowski’nin seçimi, hayatın karmaşasında kaybolmuş ama hâlâ ayakta kalmaya devam eden herkese selam gibi geliyor bana.

Kendini bazen kaybolmuş hissedenlere: Düşmek kolay, ama hâlâ yeryüzünde kalabilmek ve durabilmek  en büyük gücümüzdür. Her Ayaga kalktiginda , hicbir seyin ayni olmadigini ogrendigim onlarca yasanmisligim gibi. Bu da gecer ama beni daha da olgunlasiyorum her seferinde.Belki de her bu  gidip geliş, insan olmanın ta kendisidir.

Bu karari almakta cok yakindir. Yani bir "Bukowski" kadar olabilmek.

Alice is Still on Earth!! 

While watching, a short dialogue from the movie caught my ear:

— “Alice has fallen down the rabbit hole.” (Alice has fallen down the rabbit hole)

— “Alice is still on earth!” (Alice is still terra firma)

From the movie 3 Christs

Then I remembered Bukowski. (I don’t like his style, but his philosophy.)

“Either I work at the post office and go crazy, or I work for you and starve. I’ll try starving.”

In its simplest form, it is:

“Either I work at the post office here and continue to go crazy,

or I work with you and starve.

I’d rather starve.”

Choosing to live your own truth by taking the risk of uncertainty. Saying “I’d rather starve”, perhaps consciously choosing your own rabbit hole…

We all sometimes break away from the reality of life and fall into the “rabbit hole.” This symbolizes the chaos, the unknown, and the loss within us. In fact, it is trauma. Our minds are labyrinths, thousands of questions in our minds; the world suddenly becomes a completely different place.

But the interesting thing is: Alice is still on Earth!

We may have fallen, but we are not completely lost.

These two sentences from the movie “3 Christs” and Bukowski’s choice seem like a greeting to everyone who is lost in the chaos of life but still continues to stand.

To those who sometimes feel lost: It is easy to fall, but being able to stay on Earth and stand is our greatest strength. Every time you stand up, like the dozens of experiences I have experienced, I have learned that nothing is the same. This too will pass, but I mature more each time. Maybe every coming and going is the essence of being human.

It is very close to making this decision. In other words, to be as good as a “Bukowski”.

The secret beauty of resistance is, despite everything,

Stand up!

I whisper to myself now, almost screaming...

“Alice is still on Earth!”
