SLAMDOG CEVAPLAR 

 -Cevaplari biliyordum . Ama sorulari degil.     

100 USD uzerindeki resmin "Benjamin Franklin"e ait oldugunu biliyordu ama "Gandhi"nin  hangi Rupi banknot uzerinde oldugunu bilmiyor. 

-Bana bu soruyu sormadilar , cunku sorsalardi, bilemezdim.

Filmdeki egitimsiz Jamal'in bilgi birikiminin, genellikle rastlantısal ve hayatın zorlu deneyimleriyle şekillenmiş olması çok çarpıcıydi.

Filmde Jamal’ın hayatın acımasızlığıyla şekillenen bilgi dağarcığı, eğitimle değil, genellikle rastlantısal ve hayatın zorlu deneyimleriyle şekillenmiş olması çok çarpıcıydi. Bu çoğu zamanla en geçerli olanı değil midir ? 

Sorularla karşılaştığımızda fark ederiz aslında neyi bilip neyi bilmediğimizi. Hayat da tam olarak böyle değil mi zaten? Once test eder , sonra öğretmez mi ? Her adımda yeni bir soru, yeni bir sınav.

Birazcık benim kişisel prensibime benziyor. " Bana soruldugunda, cevap veriririm. "  Cevabını bilirsem seve seve yanıtım sizindir. Bilmezsem , suskunluğum benimdir."

SLAMDOG ANSWERS

—I knew the answers. But not the questions.

He knew that the face on the 100 USD bill was Benjamin Franklin, but he didn’t know which rupee note featured Gandhi.

—They didn’t ask me that question, because if they had, I wouldn’t have known.

It was striking how Jamal, an uneducated character, had built up a store of knowledge shaped by random events and the harsh experiences of life.

Jamal's knowledge, forged in the furnace of life’s cruelty—not through formal education but mostly through chance and adversity—was incredibly compelling. Isn’t that, more often than not, the most valid kind of wisdom?

It’s only when faced with questions that we truly discover what we know and what we don’t. And isn't life exactly like that? Doesn’t it test us first, and teach us later? Each step brings a new question, a new exam.

In a way, it mirrors my personal principle: “When asked, I respond.” If I know the answer, it is gladly yours. If I don’t, then my silence is mine alone."
